Please join with the Friends of the Open Space Park, the Bridlemile Creek Stewards, and the Bridlemile Neighborhood Association on Saturday May 5th for the 2nd Annual Friends of the Open Space Park No Ivy Day Event.

We'll be removing ivy, blackberries, and other invasive plants and giving a guided tour of the park. Tools and refreshments will be provided, but if you have them please bring your favorite gardening gloves.

This is a unique opportunity to see and help maintain Bridlemile's beautiful undeveloped Open Space Park which is all but unreachable without trespassing on neighboring properties.

Gus and Claudine Kent at 4225 SW 58th have again generously allowed us to access the Open Space Park for this event only via their property. Please do NOT go on their property before or after the event. Parking along SW 58th is very limited, so if you can please car pool or walk to the event, and you have to drive please don't park in people's driveways or block mail boxes.
