Fall needles and leaves, rain, and wind have all conspired to cover many of the stretches that were cleaned (during September and October) with a fresh layer of needles and leaves. Good news is that most needles and leaves are now down and depending on turnout one or two work parties should be able to clean off the area outside the fog line in a few hours.
So if weather is decent meet me on the street, I plan to start on the East end (which has the most area covered)near SW34th and head West.
See the Work Parties page for information regarding tools, what to wear, and other details.
A big Thank You to all those neighbors have cleaned the stretch by their homes one or more times already this Fall.
Start at SW34th and head West.

Wrong date - try again in December
Apologies to anyone who showed up on Tue, I mistakenly put the wrong date and start time on the calendar(email had corect date and time).Victor shoveled and swept off mostly needles between SW34th and just past SW39th from 10am to Noon. Still some needles and leaves falling; so will try again on the 2nd consecutive dry day in Dec. To be notified by email of next event subscribe to the BNA-HSPi email list .
