By contrast all images under ~55KB upload in a couple of seconds. So it appears that the Attach hangs when files/images are above ~55KB in size???
Apparently this may just be a Browser problem, I tested it using one of the same files (which had hung using Safari 2.0.4) but which uploaded in a couple of seconds using Firefox v1.0.6

Even though it is a browser issue, it does not always mean Safari will fail and Firefox will work. It is likely a combination of factors, which include things like the load on the server – and how quickly it responds to the browser – the load on the client, available bandwidth, number of packets resent, etc. The larger the file, the more likely these other factors are exacerbated. Eventually, a tipping point is reached, and that is that. Since different browsers react differently, one may work where another may fail. And it could also be partly the luck of the draw, since each browser, operating at different times, will be operating under somewhat different conditions (e.g. server load, bandwidth availability, etc.)
Btw, Ginny was using Firefox, i think, when she had problems. Of course she was using a different OS too.

I had occasion to use Firefox again today, this time the files uploaded included a 272KB pdf which uploaded quickly... so far with Firefox everything has uploaded quickly, and with Safari everything above ~55KB has consistently hung.
And the above remains true, I have never had a hang using Firefox v1.0.6 on Mac OS X 10.4.8 since...

Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so what versions of Wndows or Mac OS, Browser, and what file size were they/you using?
