Description:
Come on an interpretative tour and learn about how native plants are being used to maintain healthy streams and habitat along Bridlemile Creek. Habitat that supports trillium, red-tail hawks, frogs, towering firs and hemlocks, and which helps support cutthroat trout and clean water further down in Fanno Creek too.
After the tour please join with Bridlemile Creek Stewards, students, parents, and neighbors to help maintain this stream restoration project by removing blackberry, clematis, ivy and other invasive plants. See how this successful restoration project is progressing.

Help the PCC Sylvania Habitat Restoration Team remove invasive species from SNAP! We will focus on English ivy, English holly, herb robert, and Himalayan blackberry removal around native plants that we will be trying to save. Please dress appropriately to the weather for staying outside for 3 hours. Long sleeves and pants that can get muddy or caught by a thorn are suggested along with sturdy footwear. Bring your favorite tools, gloves, and some water. We will have some snacks, some tools, and gloves as well.

We usually meet at 9 am for an introduction at PCC Sylvania, Parking Lot 10, and we walk down to the park from there. Restrooms are at the college.
