Washington County is embarking on a process to improve safety and reduce congestion at this intersection by realigning Oleson Road to the east to form new intersections with Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway and Scholls Ferry Road. This alternative, selected in 1996 by the Washington County Board of Commissioners, has been refined in the past few months to minimize natural resource impacts.
