Eight volunteers: Alex & Dave Baasch, Ginger Danzer, Bob Everhart, Jeanette Kloos, Greg, Steve, and Victor put in over 100 plants and removed some invasives too...

Thursday August 9th, 2007 • Bridlemile Creek Sign posted
For the past two years Greg has worked with the Bridlemile Elementary School, historian Lewis McArthur, Oregon naming board, and others to get the stretch of creek at the East end of Hamilton Park named Bridlemile Creek. Today the sign went up.

Tuesday September 25th, 2007 • Americorps Work Party
Americorps to the rescue! Lot's of catch up to do at Hamilton Park and thanks to Portland Parks Americorps crews came three times to Hamilton Park this year. Here are some photos of their September 25 work party by Marissa Dorais, Botanic Technician for Portland Parks and Recreation.

Saturday October 6th, 2007 • Tutorial and invasive removal event
Removed approximately one (1) yard of blackberries and ivy and some Holly. We educated two adults on the progress of our enhancement project and how that ties into the Tualatin River Basin, Fanno Creek, and the Fanno Watershed. At least five or more creek stewards and the two extra adult volunteers performed community services on the 6th of Oct.
