If we have meetings as often as once a month I'd like to see specialized topics geared to different skill levels. Every meeting wouldn't be useful for everyone but we could pick the onces that best suited our needs.

I’ve been thinking along these lines myself, because there are so many aspects of the CMS we could explore and expand upon.
I have some ideas about topics to present, but i’m very interested in hearing what topics others think might be useful. Please post ideas below.
Meeting frequency

I support further meetings -- but leave it up to the practitioners to decide how frequently they benefit from those meetings. My initial suggestion is that once a quarter may prove to be best suppoted by attendance.Glenn Serve your community and it will serve you
I like the idea

However, I don't think I'd be able to attend monthly. It would be nice to have "Q&A sessions" or "work sessions" where we could be in one room, on the computer, building our websites, but you (mike) would be available to help us when needed. It'd be nice to be with all the other webmasters for "tips and tricks".Also, I can't figure out how to vote!
Where to meet?

Hands-on web site building is a good idea. Working in a group will facilitate the cross-pollination of ideas too. I see this as ad hoc, just to get some web sites started, not a standing committee/workgroup.
I’m wondering where to hold these meetings? My guess is that attendance won’t be as large as what we had at Stephenson (then again, i didn’t think that meeting would be as large as it was either!)
One possibility is to use the SWNI conference room and office, if it’s not too large a group, and if enough folks have portable computers they could bring. We could set up a makeshift network (either wired or wireless).
Regarding the poll, i think it was configured to automatically close after two weeks.
