New parks and open space are few and far between for Portland, and South Waterfront has perhaps the most exciting public land acquisition since Forest Park right in its backyard (or front yard, depending on here your door is).

Dru Rosenthal from Lincoln High School and Judge Eric Bloch will be our guest speakers. Judge Eric Bloch, who is the primary judge in charge the DUI Intensive Supervision Program (DISP), will talk about your concerns regarding burglaries, drugs and shootings as well as other issues, such as treatment courts.

Marianne Fitzgeralds, chair of the SWNI Transportation Commitee will talk and answer questions about the opportunities for pedestrian and bicycle improvements that SW Hamilton’s recent selection as a Halo LID pilot project makes possible.
Come share your ideas and concerns on how to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety along SW Hamilton.

Friends of Marshall Park
The Friends of Marshall Park is organized as a subcommittee of the Marshall Park Neighborhood Association, although many volunteers from outside the neighborhood help maintain this special place!
Work parties are held on the 1st Saturday of each month, October - June, from 9am to noon. Meet at the picnic tables below the 12th Drive turnaround.
