Elections
Elected board members serve 2-year terms with no limitation on number of terms served. Elections are held at the annual meeting in May. Each BNA member is entitled to one vote (see Membership requirements below). The number of directors may vary between 3-11 and vacancies may be filled by a vote of the directors currently serving. Board members filling vacant seats serve until the next election. After the May elections, the board selects which directors will fill the officer positions for 1 year.
Membership
All residents, property owners and individuals who hold a business license located within Bridlemile boundaries as defined in Bylaws (see below) and 18 years of age or older are eligible to be a BNA member. An eligible person becomes a member of BNA two weeks after attending a BNA Board or General meeting and consenting to be a member on the signup sheet or orally in Zoom meetings. Membership term expires 12 months after they last consented to be a member of BNA. Individuals are not limited in the number of times their term may be extended.
